Two-bowl method
With this fast method, no mixer is needed to make the cake batter. You only need two bowls (one for wet ingredients and one for dry) and a whisk. I use it in several (though not all) of my bakery cake recipes.
Barb Baker, who owned The Bakehouse in Springfield, Missouri for over 20 years, taught me this method. You don't need complicated baking methods to create a super-moist, tender, and tasty cake! I recommend starting with my Triple Chocolate Ganache Cake or Carrot Cake. Enjoy! :)
