Chocolate Caramel Filled Cupcakes

These caramel filled cupcakes are topped with a simple and festive topping of store bought caramel corn, white chocolate chips, candy corn, and caramel drizzle.

To make the chocolate cupcakes, combine the wet and dry ingredients in a large bowl.  No mixer is required.

Make the easiest caramel recipe using caramel bits and heavy cream.  Add a pinch of sea salt if you'd like a salted caramel filling.

Bake the cupcakes, and once they are cool, use a cupcake corer to remove the center of the cupcakes.

Fill the cupcake centers with the caramel cupcake filling.  It's best if the caramel is slightly cool so that it won't melt completely into the cupcake.
