Mix the red velvet dry ingredients in a large bowl and the wet ingredients in a separate bowl.


Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then add apple cider vinegar, red food coloring, and melted butter.  The apple cider vinegar enhances the cake's rise and soft texture.


Pour the red velvet cake batter into a prepared bundt cake pan sprayed with a cooking spray that contains flour.


Bake the cake, then allow it to cool before flipping it out of the cake pan.
