No mixer is required to make this easy chocolate snack cake with chocolate fudge icing.  Whisk the dry and wet ingredients in separate large bowls then combine.

Whisk a mixture of melted butter and chocolate chips into the chocolate fudge cake batter.

Pour the cake batter into a greased 9 by 13 inch cake pan.  While the cake is baking, make the easy fudgy icing.

Combine the fudge icing ingredients in a saucepan and cook until melted.

Pour the fudgy icing over the warm cake and let it melt into the moist chocolate cake.  Allow the cake to cool before cutting.  This rich chocolate cake is perfect with vanilla ice cream!
