 - Frozen unsweetened blueberries  - Sugar  - All-purpose flour  - Blueberry emulsion  - Buttermilk  - Butter

Step-by-step instructions!

Follow our easy instructions for success!

Whisk the blueberry cake dry ingredients together, then the wet ingredients in a separate bowl.  Combine the wet and the dry and stir in melted salted butter.

Spread the blueberry cake batter into your prepared baking pans.  We're using a 1/4 sheet pan and will cut the cake out with cake rings.

If you're using the Cut and Stack method, cut out 3 round cakes to make the blueberry layer cake.  You can also use 6" or 8" cake pans.

Blend the cream cheese blueberry buttercream frosting ingredients with a stand mixer, then beat it on high until it is light and fluffy.

Layer the blueberry cake with homemade blueberry compote filling and buttercream.  Decorate the cake with fresh blueberries.
